Enchodus lybicus Teeth

This extinct salmonid predator is also called the sabre-toothed herring. The predator could grow to be two metres long and lived in the Cretaceous period about 70 million years ago in the same period as Mosasaurus.

Each tooth is 4 to 5cm in length and weighs 10 grams.

In some cases they have undergone minor restoration.
